Are tax returns part of initial evidence for 485?

Since you are not being sponsored by an individual, you don't need tax returns. You have to prove you were in status when the case was filed, but that does not mean you need to submit tax returns.

Right, on an employment-based AOS, one does not need to submit tax returns as initial evidence.
