Got 221g blue form, please suggest

Got 221g blue form for H1b visa at Chennai consulate, asking me to get and email detailed Project description PDF from petitioner. No other check-box (such as administrative processing) in the blue form was ticked. No document or passport was taken. My petitioner said he will provide the document. I dont know how things will go.

I don't want to take risks that may result in bad visa history and/or go through long wait period of following the case. Is withdrawing case *now* the safest option? Or can I submit the required document and still withdraw later if things dont go well?  Please suggest.

Do not worry and do not withdraw your visa application. Submit required documents and wait for a response from US consulate.
