H1B Visa is pending stamping.Can someone redeem 365days of staying outside US?

Hi All,

 

Can you let me know how to redeem 365 days staying outside of US.My H1B Visa was made on 10th October 2013 but stamping is pending.Could someone let me know what is the best option of utilizing the period I have stayed outside of USA.

Also let me know if switch would be a better option to take at this moment and in this scenario.

Are there anyother options available to utilize the time I have stayed outside of US.
