F1 to H1

Hi,

 

I am on F1 and applied for H1B. On 09/30 my school got a notification from SEVIS saying my SEVIS got Terminated with a reason saying that My Change of Status Approved.

My attorney or employer haven't received any letter or update on this and also the online status still shows review.

What does this mean? Will SEVIS gets terminated with a reason of "Change of Status Approved" even if change of status is pending?

There is a possibility that your H1B petition was approved as COS. Your attorney will get the approval notice by post.

You are good , you don't have to worry .. You are on h1 status now that Is why your sevis got terminated. Congrats

Hi your DSO said that SEVIS is terminated or Completed both are different i think it should be "Completed" if status is changed to H1
