skk235
Hi, I applied for my H1-B with Location 1 LCA and got a RFE for client letter but unfortunately my my project ended during my RFE. So, I had to file a new Location 2 LCA and resubmit all the docuements to the existing case. Stating that Location 2 was not part of my initial LCA my H1-B was denied. Can I request a MTR for this case ? Can someone please guide/help regarding the situation ? Thanks in Advance!! Link to comment
JoeF
That H1 is gone, since the project doesn't exist anymore. Next year, find a better employer, one who isn't a consulting company. Link to comment
jairichi
If this is your cap subject H1B petition there is no point in filing a MTR as it will be denied. Otherwise it can be done. What does your employer's attorney say? Link to comment
itsmeusa
MTR is usually length and a dead horse. Better move to new employer as soon as possible. Right now you are collecting out of status days if your I-94 is expired. Link to comment

If this is your first H1 then this H1 is gone. Find a full time employer not a consulting firm. Are you in OPT or still going to school? Link to comment
JoeF
This is my first H-1 and I've already changed my status to F-1 doing my double masters if it ever helps... I hope you enrolled in a real university, and not in one of the shady, non-accredited or barely accredited ones. Link to comment
skk235
@JoeF Enrolled in a decent real university. @rahul412 I'm a fulltime employee to my employer Also, my denied LCA states that my Location 2 is not under commuting distance from Location 1 Metropolitan but I live in Location 1 metro and work remote for my Location 2 client. Can this be a saving grace if I could get a letter saying I work remote from Location 1 metro where my initial LCA was filed from ? Thanks!! Link to comment

JoeF
Yes Rahul, I'm currently in a project in accordance with CPT rules. Hmm, you said you enrolled in a decent university. Real universities do not give out CPT to somebody who just enrolled. You seem to be abusing CPT. Link to comment
