Going for H4 stamping while spouse(H1) in India

Hello All,

    I had my first time H1B stamped recently in India. I have two dependents, wife and daughter.

They have not attended visa stamping along with me. Now I'm serving my notice period in my current company (India). Questions are 

1. can my wife and daughter go for H4 stamping before I leave to USA (i may travel in a month or two)?

2. will there be any issue if they apply for dependent visa while i'm still in India?

3. will there be any issues since they have not attended visa interview along with me?

4. any covering letter required from my employer for their visa interview?
