Impending divorce, request revocation of H4 status for my spouse

Hi,

Not the brightest story, but it seems that a divorce is imminent with my spouse. Currently he is on a H4 status and dependent on my H1B status. We dont get along very well and I would like to get away from him atleast for the near future. After we have spent some time away we probably would be in a better position to decide if divorce is the best path forward. Until then I would like to be away from my spouse. He does not want to leave the US currently and has refused to leave the country for obvious reasons. Obviously I cant force him at this point.

 

I would like to know if its possible to request my company attorney to revoke the H4 visa status for my spouse?

I have an approved H1B (I-797)  till may of 2017 and similarly an approved H4 petition for the spouse as well. So we do have approved I-797's,  but we both dont have valid US visas in our passports. Is there any way I can request for revocation of the H4 status, so that he is out of status and has to leave the country.
