Ariean
My parents are family based lawful permanent residents and they don't have private health insurance and neither they would qualify for Medicare & Medicaid. They have all the medication supplies they need back from native country when they came to USA. Is it a problem or could accumulate penalties over the years if permanent residents don't have health insurance while they reside in USA either continuous period of time or few months, even if they don't become burden on public or US Govt. Thank you. Link to comment
jairichi
Do not gamble on their health. Take health insurance whether mandatory or not. Link to comment
