sanju001
Hello, I did a change of status from h4 to f1 and currently on OPT. Can I go to F1 stamping in Euopean countries? We are travelling for my husband's work and wondering if it is ok to attend Visa interview in UK. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Sanju Link to comment
jairichi
The first question asked during an interview is whether you have a long stay visa for that particular European country. If you have then you are fine. Link to comment
itsmeusa
It's ok, but usually US consulate recommends to go to home country for stamping, just in case something goes not as expected in visa interview, you would be stuck in foreign country. Link to comment
F1struggle
The better option would be Jamaica or canada. Check for dates. I know canada doesn't have anything until late November. You could try Jamaica. Also talk to your DSO. Link to comment

sanju001
If I stay longer than 90 days, does it affect my current OPT or OPT extention(STEM)? Link to comment

F1struggle
I said Jamaica or Canada since it is closer in terms of distance and the two locations have regularly seen applicants of US visa as TCN. However, not many do the same in UK I would imagine. Link to comment
