RFE status not changed

Hi All,

Please help me.

I applied H1B through small consultancy
Got RFE on June 24th , replied to USCIS on August 26th.
Status is still in “Request for Evidence”. Deadline September 15.

How much time would USCIS will take to update the status to “Request for Evidence Response Review”.
Should I contact USCIS for update?

Status does not updated frequently. Just confirm through employer that USCIS received RFE response.

You can't contact USCIS, your employer has to do that.

Generally, USCIS won't update the status very often.

USCIS case status update is just additional service that's provided. It's not 100% accurate in all the cases. Only employer / lawyer can contact USCIS and see what's happening on the case.

Instead of the small desi consulting company where you have paid for your H1, you should have applied for FT jobs
