During oath i had surrenderd my GC. Then i have applied for US passport during which , i had to submit original copy of my citizenship and passport application is in process now. I have my SSN card whcih says 'Employ only with valid DHS authorization ( i got SSN while i was on H1-b) Recently i have moved to a new job at which i had to show proof for I-9 , that i am authorised to work in US . I dont have originals with me now. What options do i have. can some one please share their experiences. Regards Gudimella Link to comment
itsmeusa Posted September 10, 2014 Report Share Posted September 10, 2014 Copy of citizenship OR Any document showing US Passport pending status - should do. Also you need to surrender your SSN card at local SSA office once you get your US passport so that they could issue you a new SSN card without that phrase. Link to comment
