H1B Query

Hello Friends,

 

Please help in the below case.

 

Currently I am in L1A visa which has been expired and my current employer has applied for the extension.

Also I had applied H1B for 2014 with company B which has been approved.

 

Now that I am returning back to India on personal grounds before October 1st and cant travel back within 5-6 months.

If I join any company in India ,Can they transfer my approved H1B with them and travel in a project with them. Although I didn't wok with employer who applied for my H1B

Yes, a new employer can file a cap exempt H1B petition. On approval you can travel to US with a valid H1B visa and new I797.

You will need your certified LCA and I 797 from the petitioner who applied for your H1.
