H1B transfer need help

I have H1B from company A and i got laid off. Company B offered me a job and they filed for H1B transfer from A to B. After this company C made me an offer,but they have not started the H1B process.

They will eventually start the process this week. Company B wants me to start work end of this week.I want to eventually work for company C. I wanted  to know that if I start working for company B and then when the 

H1B transfer from A to  C comes through move to C. Will  I have to apply for transfer from B to C or can  I start working for C as soon as the transfer for C gets approved.

Please  note that both company B and C will apply for transfer of H1B from company A based on my current status.

You can start working for C after approval provided an I94 is attached to I797.
