jesuisgirish@gmail.com
Hello, I got an admit for a US university and came to the US on an F1 visa. After coming to the US i got a better admit from a canadian university. I have applied for a canadian visa while I am in the US on my f1, since i have not registered for classes I will be recommended for a f1 visa cancellation by my US univ. I am trying to avoid having to travel back to India before heading to canada. My question is : Is there a way i can extend my stay in the US till i get the canadian visa ? Link to comment

No their is no way to do that. You can file COS to B2, but not sure whether that works in your case. Link to comment
