American child going to high school in US

Canadian born citizens (now living/working in Saudi Arabia) with an american child (by birth; we lived/worked in US many years ago; H1B status). Our child would like to attend a private high school in the US. Any ideas how my wife can accompany our child (and live in the US).

 

Can my wife extend a B2 for the duration of my daughter's high school education?

 

If not, we were thinking about an E-2 (buying a small business) or maybe my wife can go back to university full time on an F-1.
