Can I travel during H1B extension pending

Hi,

My H1B is valid till Nov 2014 and I have to travel to India in the same month for very important and personal work. I applied for H1B extension and it is pending

 

1) can I travel during that pending period.

2) If I get RFE and If I replied to RFE then can I travel during pending RFE decision.

3) If my H1B extension gets rejected then is how much time do I get to leave the country.

4) Is there any emergency visa so that I can get H1B extension for 2-3 weeks even after denial.

 

Please suggest ASAP.
