H4B and I140 approved

Hi friends

  I am on H4B now dependent on my wife who is on H1B. I move back and forth between India and US doing some freelance work. I work for no company now. I have I-140 approved from previous company(same company as my wife's current company) before I resigned last year(Nov 2013). My priority date is Dec 2012.

 

What happens to my GC process and my priority date once my wife's GC process starts(I am guessing this would start in Oct 2014)?

Will stay the same. In US on H4 you are not allowed to work. I hope you are aware of that.
