What will happen H1b transfer is rejected

Hi,

 

I am currently working for company A and have I-140 approved with priority date in 2011.  I got an offer from company B who is currently applying new H1b under premium processing.  I have not informed my employer company A about my intentions of leaving if the new H1b is approved.  My question is :

 

If the h1b peitition by company B is rejected for some reason, will it have any effect on my current H1b status with company A or the GC process in future.
