H1b petition approved but not the visa , need to join a new organisation

Hi There,

 

My current organisation filed my H1b this year in premium category and I have the petition papers with me, due to some reasons , i would be leaving my company in september. The new employer has agreed to file a new petition but i am yet to get the stamping done with my current petition.

 

My question is :

1. can i ask the new employer to apply for a new petition even though i have not gone through the stamping process using my current petition.

 

2. can my current employer revoke my petition

Yes it is approved , and i have the hard copy of it with me .

Actually my new employer has approved a visa transfer , all I wanted to know is that if my current employer revokes the petition can I still get it transferred.
