MurthyIndia_Lawyer Posted August 1, 2014 Report Share Posted August 1, 2014 In general, a non-immigrant visa applicant can schedule his/her visa interview at any one of the U.S. Embassy / Consulates in India. There is no domicile based restriction at this time. Please be aware that F1 visa applicants are subject to the presumption of Immigrant Intent under section 214(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Accordingly you will have to convince the visa officer on the purpose of visit, funds for the education and your long term intent. Link to comment
