H-1B visa extension stamping in canada before expiration of current H-1B visa

Hi,

 

Can some one help me with the answer for my question......

 

My current visa is expiring as of October 31st  2014. I have applied for my H-1B extension and expecting approval by end of august or early 1st week of September. I see that the wait time for scheduling visa interview in Canada is more than 60 days which is varying with the cities.

 

I would like to find out that will i be able to schedule an appointment  with my current h-1b document and edit the details to new EAC once i have my extension documents approved and before going to visa.
