H1B Amendment and Travelling outside US

Hi Attorneys,

 

I have a valid H1B Visa stamped till 2016 Nov. My current project got over and relocating to new location (NJ), my employer X is filling H1B for this new client with different role from what it is in my petition documents.
Can you let me know

 

1) how long will it take for Amendment process, Can I start working for new client before its been approved, after filling amendment?

 

2) Can I travel outside USA while the Amendment is in process?

 

3) Can I file H4 for my spouse with my old existing petition during this time of amendment process or will this affect H4 Visa for my spouse?

 

Also another employer Y wants to transfer my H1B to his company.

 

1) Is it fine to transfer my H1B to employer Y while I am outside USA ?

 

2) Will there be an issue while filling H4 for my spouse with my old petition document, if the H1B transfer is during H4 Visa interview?

 

3) Please guide how long it takes for LCA to be approved before H1B transfer is filled.
