dfw
How many days do I have to apply for I-485 after my PD becomes current? Is there a set time frame ? Example: If my PD is Oct 2005 which becomes current in July 2011. Could I apply for the I-485 after one year? Thanks in advance. Link to comment

Any reason why you wait for an year to file for I-485 after the PD becomes current? Link to comment
Joe.F
You can file an I-485 at any time the PD is current. It is advisable to file the I-485 ASAP when the PD becomes current. Otherwise, it could be that there is retrogression, and you won't be able to file the I-485, for possibly several years. Link to comment
