I-94 issue..please help

Dear Friends,

 

I am in a confusing situation now. I switch my employer B and get the H1B visa stamped through them and few months back I went back to my previous employer A and start working as their I-797 is still valid until 2015. 

I was traveling to Canada and at the port of entry I showed my previous employer "A"  I-797 but officer gave me a arrival stamp until 2016 (based on the visa I have on my passport).

 

Please help me what should I do not. Is there any issue ?

That's not a big deal, but make sure you get your H1 approval before the expiration date. Or contact your local CBP office for help.

 

How did you got your visa beyond the expiration date??
