Hi,

 

I received EAD card, I797C (receipt notice) and mailer with barcode when I applied for EAD renewal, last year and have NOT received I797 (approval notice).

 

My I 485 is pending  and do I need I-797 (approval notice) when applying for EAD renewal in jan-2015 ?

 

is there any reason why some people receive I-797 and some did'nt ?
