Porting from EB3 to EB2 or EB1

Hi All,

 

My company applied for GC under EB3 category sometime in 2009 and I got the following approved,

 

1. PERM

2. I-140

 

I went back to India in 2010 and now back in US on L1A visa with pure managerial roles and responsibilities. I do have BE (Computer Science) and 10+ years of experience.

 

I just want to explore what would be better option for me,

 

Try to port from EB3 to EB2 for faster processing

OR

File a fresh GC application under EB1 category (obviously if my employer agrees to it)

 

Please help me in in taking this decision.
