H1B transfer using I 797 B

Hi, 

I am currently working through an employer in USA on F1 CPT. I have filed my H1B through different employer and received I797 B which is going to activate from 1st Oct 2014. My previous employer has agreed to provide me full time job in his company and asked me to transfer H1B. My question is 

-Would it be possible to transfer H1B using I797 B to other employer

-As I never worked from the employer who filed for my H1B, still I need to have 3 paycheck for the transfer process

-As I am in USA can I request for change of status while applying for transfer to my new employer?

I would appreciate if some one provide feedback to my situation or any suggestions will be appreciated.
