F1 (OPT) to H4 help

Hi, 

 

I am currenly in US on F1 - OPT extn. My OPT is getting over in Oct 2014. I dint got my H1 selected in lottery. My spouse is on H1. I am planning to go on vacation in August. Is it a good idea to go for a Fresh H4 stamping in India OR should i come back and apply for H4+Change of Status. Please advice. 

(i don't have recent paystubs for OPT)

What do you mean by saying you have no recent pay stubs on OPT?

Better to go for H4 stamping.

For COS to H4 from OPT you need latest pay stubs to prove that you were working.
