Retaining old priority date after my current 140 is approved

Hi, I am looking for any success stories in this scenario to pursue to retain priority date:

I am in H1B, got 140 approved(2010) through employer A, then joined employer B, got labor and 140 approved(2011) but the priority date was not retained. Now my old employer A says they withdrew my 140 petition. Since it is not revoked due to fraud, I am trying to retain the priority date. If anyone has successfully retained priority date in this scenario, please share your experiences. Thank you so much!!
