L2 Visa and EAD are expired. Renewal is in Initial Review. Can i Work?

Hello,

 

         My L2 Visa and L2 EAD both are expired today.  I have already applied for renewal of both of them and they are in Initial Review status right now. Can i continue working now as i have received the receipts of the renewal applications for L2 visa and L2 EAD?

I do not think you can work without a renewed EAD.
