Travel on h4 visa while H1b is approved

Hi,

 

I am currently on H4 visa and my H1b visa got approved this year and it will be effective from october 1st.

 

I am planning to travel india next month and come back before October 1st on H4 visa.

 

Would it be fine to do? Would this travel harm on my H1b visa? Would I be allowed to enter USA on h4 while my H1 petition is approved.
