The gap between OPT and New I-20 release date

Hi All,

 

I am currently work full time for a corporation on my OPT. My OPT will expire July 2, 2014, and I applied a second Master Program in another university. The new I-20 Form release date begin from June 16, 2014.

 

My question is:

Could I work during period from June 16, 2014 to July 2, 2014?

If you have already asked your current university to release SEVIS to the new university and the new university has provided you with new I 20,  then your work period has ended. You should have asked to release SEVIS after July 2.
