It is more than a month that my application for a U.S. nonimmigrant visa is undergoing  administrative processing.  How can I do speed up my administrative processing?

What's the reason for AP??

Nothing can be done other than wait for an answer from consulate.

Nothing. You are in a long line and you cannot jump in front of others waiting for an F-1 Visa. It may or may not be done in time for a fall start so have a plan B

What is the plan B? You mean defer or Late Arrival?

You can but you will need to withdraw your current application. And, a change in US consulate location is not going to change anything.

No. They all have the same information, and they would just defer to the existing process.

You may not apply at another consulate; all consulates follow the same rules.

 

Late arrival for school is unacceptable. Professors expect you to be in class from the first day.  Defer. Notify the DSO of your situation.  You may need to defer for more than 1 semester depending on the length of time for processing. And, you may be denied a visa based on the outcome of AAP.
