luvu
Interview Questions and Experience: I was the first person on that counter as that counter just started. When I went to the counter he asked for my passport and I797 and he started interviewing me while he was still adjusting his counter and sorting some papers here and there. VO: Tell me about your work. Me: I started with my designation and roles and responsibilities VO interrupted me and asked whether I work for my client company Me: No VO: Who is ur employer Me:YYY VO: then when I ask abt your work you should say YYY. So lets start again. (I thot I m done for) VO: Tell me about your work( repeated the first question) Me: took a moment and started... I work for YYY as so and so designation. VO: So how long is the contract for client company? Me: so and so years VO: so how long have you been working for the client company? Me : so and so years VO: whats are you going to do after contract with that client is finished? (here he was arranging loomis papers and then 221g papers) Me: Didnt know what to say but told him that my employer will put me in new assignment. VO: Did you read your rights? Me: Yes VO: Did you read from start to end? Me: No. Just read main points and stated few lines from that paper. VO: When did you take ur last vacation? Me: 2009 VO: What? Thats illegal and against law. Me:I took vacation for this trip and I take small vacations. I took one in May 1st week and one in feb. VO: It seems he was not satisfied with my answer, so asked where did I go after taking vacation. Me: I told so and so place And then he told me. Your Visa is approved and gave the loomis paper. Whole interview was abt 2-3 mins with no so routine straight forward questions(May be becoz he just started the counter and doing multitasking by arranging paper for his counter) He asked for my finger prints in between. I thot, I m going to get 221g sheet when he was arranging those papers. But yeah Good luck to all. Happy Stamping Link to comment
stamp13
Congratulations on your stamping. What do you mean by ' reading rights' ? What if we doesn't take vacation from long time? (VO: whats are you going to do after contract with that client is finished? ) - what would be the convincing answer to this question? As I am a contractor, I will wait till i get next contract. Convincing answer is the truth, you need to tell the truth. That's not 'reading rights', its about a white paper given during the interview. Link to comment
luvu
stamp13 Convincing answer and the truth are both same for contractors. We will be working on next contract/assignment after current contract. No need to tell them about waiting time in between I guess. Link to comment
