Traveling while the GC dates become current

Hi,

    The date has moved to Sept 2008 for EB2-India. I have the  Advance parole EAD card. I had applied for the green card under the EB-2 category (India)

 

My priority date is March-2009

 

I am traveling abroad (India) in July. Would it affect the process if the date became current and I am not in the United States when it becomes current?  Would there be any implications under any situation (like retrogression) ?
