     Here is my situation, I have present H1 B valid till Sept 29 2014 and I have applied for extension and got approval for 1 Year. And the new approval  H1 B starts from Sept 30 2014 to Sept 29 2015.  Can I go for stamping in next couple of months with the new petition?

Yes. Show both I797s to VO during interview.

Yes, you can. But enter your latest 797 details in the DS form.

you can go and show both i797 and get stamping based on new approval. but you will get I-94 with till 29 sept 2014 only as they will not issue I-94 till 2015 so you may need to travel again and reenter again so better to go for stamping just before 10days on your first petition expiring day 29 sep 2014.
