(A Chinese proverb modified for NORI enthusiasts) I have few suggestions for new NORI enthusiasts: We panic in the NORI stages because we don’t have control on most of the stages and due to untraceable status of the documents. How to reduce it…? Here are my humble suggestions: Make your documents trackable as much as possible. Use FedEx tracking / Speedpost Tracking features while sending in and out. Find agents or persons who will follow the documents in your native country. (Big relief!!). Look you will find. Before starting the process, make a timeline (write it down please) and allot plenty of time which is feasible for you into each phase. Reward yourself after completion of each small steps. You deserve it!! Trust me. NORI is a group/team effort of more than 100 people who don’t even know you! Can’t believe?? Please sit for a while and think. (I can’t emphasize that enough. But I guarantee that this is the most important step I learned here) Please make your “team-member’s” job easiest for you by providing all documents in neatly packed envelopes (impression matters) and color tagged for easy identification. Provide info to them in a timely manner. You will be pleased with the result. Wish you all success and mild frustration as part of the game. Link to comment
