BrvHrt Posted May 21, 2014 Report Share Posted May 21, 2014 Hi, My friend has completed his Graduation(Masters) on Aug 2013 and started his OPT From Sept 15th 2013.This Year april applied his H1B and got approval which is starting from Oct 2nd. His Current OPT is expiring on Sept 14th 2014 , so Either he has to go with CAP / OPT Ext. My Questions is : - I thought all the H1B's will start from Oct 1st but not sure why starts from Oct 2nd ? - Is he eligible to get CAP Gap till Oct 1st ? I thought CAP get till Sept 30th.
