H1 visa stamping - will children be allowed in the consulate without appointent?

We are going to get our H1 and H4 visa stamped in the Toronto Consulate. My issue is that I have 2 kids that dont need a visa as they are citizens, but they will be accompanying us for the interview. Will they be allowed in the consulate as they don' t have an appointment.

Sure, they will be allowed to enter in the Consulate, provided they are US Citizens. They need not have any appointment proof.

You dont need any appointment for your kids if they are US citizens. They can accompany you.
