OPT eligibility

Hi ,

I am a student and would like to apply for OPT. I started as a student in August 2013 on H4 status. Applied for F1 in November 2013. Received F1 approval on March 6 2014. Would like to graduate on August 7 2014.
I have been a student for one academic year , i.e fall 2013, spring 2014 and summer 2014, but have been on on F1 only since March 6th 2014. What are my chances of getting the OPT approved if I apply for Augsut 8th or Oct7th as start date. I would really like to graduate in August but would you rather recommend to wait and graduate in Dec 2014.

Please advice.
