After my H1B petition is filed i went to India in Feb 2011 and came back on same H4 visa. Now my H1B petition has been approved. My employer says that now i need to file for I-94 amendment. Please let me know whether it is true that i need to apply for I-94 amendment. Can i apply for SSN in the meantime? Whether i can file i-94 amendment in Premium Processing? Thank you very much.
