Aniloru
My Wife's Interview date for H4 is next week and I have sent my original I797(s). I have retained bottom left half of the I797(I94 is taken already at the airport.), that has a quick summary, with me in US and sent the top part to my wife. (I did so because it said to retain that part for you records.) Is this OK? will this be any problem? Should I send that part also? Please advice as the date is nearing. Link to comment
kalyan2985
which consulate is she going to? I dont think you need to send the original I- 797, photo copy will work. Link to comment
realz
I don't know for sure, but i saw some people at the consulate with their i797 bottom part removed. so that maybe okay. Link to comment
Transformer
You don't need to send the bottom part of 797. Also you don't have to send the original, only copy is sufficient for H4 stamping. Link to comment
