Need of client letter for H1B transfer after I-140 approval

I am in 6-th year of my H1B and have got 3 years of  extn with my I-140 approval with my current employer. I have an offer with an IT services company. My concern is,

 

1. Can i get 3 years of extn when my new employer files my H1B transfer?

2. Is it necessary to get the client invitation letter without any assignment/contract date in order to get 3 years extn?

1. That depends on the documentation

2. If you are working at client location then yes.
