F1 and H4 visa stamping

My current status is H4. Planning for F1 stamping in India.  Along with me my child will travel and will need H4 or F2 visa . My spouse working on H1 (no I-140 approved) is not travelling with me. My spouse will be sponsoring for studies. can anyone please suggest for below 

 

1) is it possible to schedule F1 stamping for me and H4 for child together?

 

2) H4 or F2 which one is good for child? I want to do a F2 but not sure if good option considering my spouse is sponsoring.

 

3) is it true if F1 visa rejected mostly H4 will also be rejected?

1. You can schedule together but interview will be at separate windows.
