H1B : Higher Role - Amendment or LCA update ?

I have a valid H1B Stamped vISA Expiring on Sept 2015 and yet to travel.

I have been identified to play a higher role in onsite for a different client and different location

 

Does this require Amendment ?

OR

Does this require just an LCA update and TM update ?

 

What is the best and easiest way to get to the US with no qualms in this situation ?

yeah,, but i would like to be well informed about the do's and donts, etc

 

I meant what would be the best and easiest way to get to the US in this situation...

I belive amendment takes anywhere around 3-4 months.. but will situation require an amendment in the first place ?
