akhil.hasan Posted May 12, 2014 Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Hi, I currently on L1B visa with Visa Expiry date 24 Nov 2018 and Petition expiry date 01 Nov 2014, I am maxing out by 01 Nov 2014(completing 5yrs in total).It would be great if you can let me know whether I need to get new visa again to enter USA if I decide to stay out of USA for 1 year and return back before visa expiry date. notation on my visa states that I have to present i797 or i129s. since its company blanket petition, i797 is valid indefinitely but i129 expires on 01Nov2014. at POE will they let me in based on i797?
