Working on H1b Transfer receipt number is good??

I got a new job with a good package and benefits; my employer had filed my H1B transfer in premium processing and i got the receipt number. Whether I can start working with this??

It is legal to start working on receipt notice but wise to wait for approval as you might be in trouble if new employer's H1B petition is denied.

Yes you can start working based on the receipt number however there is always a possibility of it being denied (chances of denial are almost not there but you never know), so its best to wait till the decision arrives. Since its filed in premium you should get the results within 2 weeks.
