Speeding ticket (dismissed) = convicted for offense or crime?

Hi all, I got a speeding ticket in Texas last year and got it dismissed after taking a driving course. Now there's no violation record with my licence as I just checked. 

 

I'm going back home for F1 visa renewal this summer, but I'm not sure if I should answer "Yes/No" to the security question on DS160 "Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action?" 

 

 

Anyone had same experience here?

With reference to the speeding ticket if you were arrested or convicted then you have to mention it.

Reading your post it doesn't look like you were either arrested or convicted.

Therefore take wise judgement answering questions.
