Travel before H1B approval

Hi,

 

I'm recent graduate who is working in XXX company from march.
My company filed H1B with Consular notification in this fiscal year and last week I got email from my attorney stating that I got thru in lottery and I need to wait  few more months for my H1B approval.

Meanwhile Im planning to visit indai in the month of july for my engagment.

 

I need to some suggestions for my trip.

 

Do u guys think its advisable to travel before H1B gets approved.

 

Note: My attorney told since I have valid OPT till Feb 2015 and H1B is filed with consular notification I can able to travel anytime during this process.
