L2 EAD Renewal

Hi,
I had a few doubts regarding my EAD renewal.
 

My Visa : L2
Visa expiration date - 08/21/14
I-94 expiration date - 08/21/14
EAD expiration date - 08/21/14

 

Spouse Visa : L1B
Visa expiration date - 08/21/14
I-94 expiration date - 08/21/14
EAD expiration date - 08/21/14

 

My spouse's employer is filing for a renewal under normal process. However i need to present my employer with a renewed EAD before the expiration. My questions are :

 

1. I am assuming L1B visa renewal under normal will take a few months. Can i file for EAD renewal with someother document apart from L1B petition page i.e. Renewal reciept or something like that?
 

2. Can normal processesing for L1B be changed to premium at any time? If yes, how long will renewal procedure take under premium?
 

3. I have heard that L1B rejection rate is very high? If that happens, can we be in US till I-94 date?

1. Yes, you can. But, approval of EAD renewal will be based on your spouse's L1.

2. Yes. 15 calendar days.

None other than that. It is either his approval notice along with I94 or your i94.
